           Background & Experience

      Sylvia Sadira is a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician/ Doctor of Oriental Medicine specializing in Pain Conditions and Herbal Therapy. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of Natural Health & Nutrition and over 5 years of clinical experience practicing Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.

   Sylvia received her Medical Training at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, FL. where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Science of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors Degree in Professional Health Science. She also has additional training and is Certified in Biopuncture (Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy) for pain and trauma and Bio-Mesotherapy for Facial Rejuvenation, cellulite reduction, and body contouring.

 My Journey and Inspiration

       My journey started 10 years ago when I had some health challenges that did not respond well to conventional forms of medicine. I came to find out that treating my body one symptom at a time was not working. Feeling frustrated, I sought to find other ways to heal.

     Eventually, I was able to heal myself through diet, exercise, acupuncture, herbs and spiritual practice. I was inspired to learn Oriental Medicine and help others to find hope and overcome illness. I am passionate about teaching people what I have learned from my personal and clinical experience.

        The vision, mission and the name of my Practice stems from  seeing first hand how Oriental Medicine has helped to heal my life as well as the lives of my patients. My last name Sadira, literally means "Lotus". The Lotus flower is a symbol for re-birth and transformation and was an inspiration for the name:
